Instructions

PoLA needs as input the nitrogen adsorption isotherm (at 77 K) of the material of interest (please note that only amorphous carbons can be described currently.
You can upload (in this page) the isotherm as an ASCII file containing two columns, i.e. the values of P/P0 (up to 1) and the excess N2 uptake, either in mol/g or in cc(STP)/g (choosing the units in the menu).
The conversion factor used here is 1 cc(STP) = 4.4032 10-5 mol.

In the isotherm files all lines starting with “#” are considered comments and not read.

The output consists in a folder containing:
1) a text file (Texture.txt) with the analysis of porosity;
2 ) the V(MinD), also in the cumulative and simplified forms, provided both as pictures (.png) and as text files (.txt);
3) the predicted H2 excess adsorption isotherm at 77 K, both as picture and as text file.
